Abstract

123,879. Dent, J. H., and United Alkali Co. April 18, 1918. Splashing-apparatus.-A hollow cone A with rolled open hub a<2> is furnished underneath with rings of studs a and is attached to a drum B to which liquid is supplied by a pipe D to occupy the annular space round the hub of the cone. A cap C, cut away toothwise at the periphery c, dips into the liquid forming a gas seal. The liquid flows over the rolled hub to the lower surface of the cone and drips from the studs.
