1,235,715. Photographic materials. ILFORD Ltd. Sept.30, 1969 [Oct.3, 1968], No. 47039/68. Heading G2C. Photographic materials having a support coated on one or both sides with at least one layer of photographic emulsion (e.g. Ag halide emulsion), have on at least one side an outermost antistatic layer which is a dried gelled layer comprising (1) Na cellulose sulphate having an average of at least 2 sulphate radicals per glucose unit in the cellulose chain, (2) a K salt (e.g. KCl), and optionally (3) gelatin in an amount by weight not in excess of that of (1).
