Abstract

1,235,549. Selective printers. OLYMPIA WERKE A.G. 2 Oct., 1968 [25 Nov., 1967], No. 46757/68. Heading B6F. Web-feeding and guiding arrangements.-The lower edge 9a of a web-deflecting rail 9, mounted between the spaced pivoted arms 5, 6 of a webroll support on a calculating machine, contacts a web-guiding plate 12 leading to the platen 20, when a small diameter web-roll 8 (shown in broken lines) is carried by the support, thereby preventing the leading end of the web-roll curling back on to the platen. The web-guiding plate 12 is pivoted at 13, carries pressure rollers 16 which co-operate with the platen 20 and is urged upwardly by a spring 15. A web-guiding member 14 pivoted at 2, co-operates with the plate 12 and enables the pressure rollers 16 to be moved away from the platen 20 for threading.
