795,155. Typewriters &c. SIEMAG FEINMECHANISCHE WERKE GES. Jan. 4, 1956 [July 23, 1955], No. 238/56. Class 100(4) In a paper guiding device for typewriters &c. comprising at least two parallel sets of paper-pressing rollers 1a-b, 2a-d, mounted on a paper trough 4, eccentric rollers 3a, b which roll on the platen are mounted on the trough outside the paper conveying path and coaxial with one of the sets of paper pressing rollers. The trough and the pressing rollers, which are urged against the platen by spring 6, are raised periodically by the eccentric rollers to prevent crumpling &c. of the paper. At the position of their smallest radius rollers 3a-b are bored, as at 9, so that when the trough is lowered the rollers rotate into positions in which the portions of greatest radius are lowermost.
