Abstract
1,228,950. Swash-plate pumps. SHIMPO KOGYO K. K. Dec.17, 1968 [Dec.22, 1967], No.59876/68. Heading F1A. To reduce wear between the stationary swashplate 4 and open ended cup shaped slippers 9 of a swash-plate pump in which hollow cylinders 8 are axially movable in bores 2 and forced into engagement with slippers 9 by means of spring 11 oil pressure acting directly on the swash-plate through the cylinders 8 and ports 10 in the slippers 9, each bore 2 diameter D 1 Fig.3 (not shown) is made equal to the slipper abutting portion (D 2 ) of the corresponding hollow cylinder 8 and to the diameter (D 3 ) of the open end of the associated slipper 9.
