Detaching from, and attaching to, permanent hubs.-The detachable hub a carries a rotatable locking ring f having lugs h adapted to pass and engage behind corresponding lugs d<2> on the end of the permanent hub d. The ring f is locked to the permanent hub by means of a spring-pressed pin g, and is secured to the hub a by a set-screw e engaging a groove I in the ring. The hub a engages a driving-key c and abuts against a coned shoulder d<3> on the fixed hub, as shown.
