Detaching f r om, and attaching to, permanent hubs.-A sleeve A is formed with a flange B bolted to the wheel nave D, which is mounted on a sleeve E fixed on an enlargement A<1> of the sleeve A and ex. tending over a spring-actuated collar F on the sleeve A. A locking sleeve G at the side of the collar F is held in position by a cap H, V-shaped teeth J on the collar F and sleeve G being held in engagement by a spring &c. External screw threads on the sleeve G fit internal threads on the nave D and a pin L carried through the cap M and sleeve A locks the cap in position.
