1,216,314. Milling cutters. MUREX Ltd. 8 Nov., 1968 [8 Nov., 1967], No. 50896/67. Heading B3K. A milling cutter has a plurality of circular rough cutting blades 8 which project axially and radially from the peripheral pockets housing them, and at least one smoothing blade 12 having a radially elongated slightly convex cutting edge portion arranged to project axially slightly in advance of the roughing blades. The pockets house an adjusting screw 22 for positioning the blades axially, the blades being clamped by a screw tightened wedge.
