Abstract

1354829 Milling cutters DELFER SpA 26 May 1972 [29 Nov 1971] 25064/72 Heading B3K A milling cutter has blades 8 clamped in seats 6, on the periphery of the body 5 by wedges 7, which are moved radially so as to clamp the blades, by having left and right handed threads 9, 10. Each of the wedges 7 has edges 7b, between which is located body 5, and each screw is screwed into a wedge 7, and into a cylindrical nut 10, located in an axial passage 11 in body 5. Each blade 8 has four cutting edges, and the blades are arranged so that a single cutting edge on each blade is operative, and these edges protrude alternately on opposite sides of body 5.
