Abstract

Platforms 1, 2, Fig. 1, which each accommodate two vehicles, are tilted about an axis 10 by a ram 30 so that the platform 1 is accessible from the approach 8 and the platform 2 from the approach 7 and vice versa when the platforms are tilted the opposite way. Fig. 3 shows an arrangement in which the pivot 11 is below the platforms. In Fig. 5 the platforms are mounted on pivoted links 13, 14. In Fig. 7 the platforms are raised and lowered by a ram as well as being tilted, so that two platforms are always accessible. Fig. 9 shows an embodiment in which the platforms are pivoted to rods 20, 21 which are raised and lowered by rams 18, 19. The platforms have rollers 24 which run in guides 22, 23.
