A platform structure comprises two vehicle supporting platforms 1, 2 arranged one above the other, the structure being mounted within a garage well and being pivotable so as to give selective access to the platforms. The platform 2 is pivoted at 13 to a base frame 3 and the platform 1 is pivotally supported on the frame by rods 4, 5. A ram 30 moves the platforms between the alternative positions. In alternative embodiments the platforms are moved by a ram through a lever pivoted at one end of the well, the lever is connected to the platforms through links replacing the rod 5, the platforms are interconnected by a telescopic or flexible member or are rigidly interconnected.
