Abstract

The motor cycle is of the type in which the front wheel (2) is carried by a fork having telescopic legs (3, 4) on each side of the wheel, the legs being supported (5) off the motor cycle frame and coupled to the frame via a pivot (26). A single, common shock absorber (14, 21) is provided and arranged centrally between the two legs of the fork. The centre line of the shock absorber may intersect the pivot axis. The piston rod (20) of the shock absorber may be pivotally connected to a bracket (28) secured to the lower ends (3) of the telescopic legs.
