Abstract

1,214,242. Fuel injectors. SULZER BROS. Ltd. March 24, 1969 [April 11, 1968], No.15320/69. Heading F1B. In an I. C. engine fuel injection valve nozzle having a valve seat and two circumferential rows of injection ports, the ports in one row are circumferentially offset from the ports in the other row and the axes of the ports in the row further from the valve seat are at a larger angle with the longitudinal axis of the nozzle than the axes of the ports in the other row, the angles being measured from the projection of the longitudinal axis extending beyond the nozzle tip.
