Abstract
1,210,188. Reinforcement mats. BAU-STAHLGEWEBE G.m.b.H. 25 July, 1969 [8 Aug., 1968], No. 37533/69. Heading D1K. A reinforcement structure comprises longitudinal and transverse rods secured together, the mid section of the structure haying single or double longitudinal rods 2 equally spaced and secured to the transverse rods 6 on one side only. The longitudinal rods 3, 4 at the opposite ends of the transverse rods of each structure are spaced apart a distance band the. distance c between the outermost longitudinal rod or rods of the central portion and the centre line between the two marginal longitudinal rods 3 or 4 is equivalent to twice the distance between the longitudinal rods of the central portion. In addition the longitudinal rods 3, 4 at each end are on opposite side of the transverse rods 1. When two structures are placed together their edges are overlapped and the longitudinal rods are distributed as illustrated in Fig. 2 with the lateral rods 1 of both structures remaining in the same plane.
