Abstract

1,078,211. Reinforcement mats. W. HAFNAGL. Jan 5, 1965 [Jan. 13, 1964], No. 376/65. Heading D1K. A reinforcement mat for concrete comprises longitudinal rods 1, 2 grouped in pairs and extending one above and one beneath the tansverse bars 3 to which they are secured by a sheathing of a plastics material 4. Individual longitudinal rods 5 are secured in a similar manner to the transverse bars at the ends of the mat over the portion which overlaps with an adjacent mat in the concrete. The rods 1, 2 may be secured alternately to the transverse bars.
