931,489. Angular bending. HOESCH A.G. May 11, 1962 [May 12, 1961], No. 18314/62. Class 83 (4). A method of bending profiled members having at least one longitudinal corrugation 6, 7 and flat areas 1, 2, 3 extending adjacent and/or between the longitudinal corrugations, in which bending is effected about a line transverse to the one or more longitudinal corrugations, comprises first providing the longitudinal corrugations at the bending position with at least one transverse corrugation 8, 9, 10 and then bending the member about a bending line extending along the transverse corrugation. Curved edges 4, 5 of the member may also have transverse corrugations. The width of the transverse corrugations may be between four and eight times the thickness of the material.
