A reinforcing arrangement for concrete structures comprises two reinforcing mats each having straight supporting longitudinal steel rods 1, 1' and transverse rods 2, 2' which undulate in parallel planes perpendicular to the plane of the straight rods, the straight rods lying in the troughs of the undulations and in the reinforcing structure prior to being bent to suit the curvature of the finished article the straight rods 1, 1' in the respective mats lie at right angles to each other.
