A wire fabric for reinforcing concrete or the like comprises a mat of longitudinal wires 1, 2 joined by transverse wires 3 at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis, which is bent about axis C-C. The mat is also bent about axes A-A to provide supports. The wires 2 may be fixed above or below the transverse wires. Several mats may be integrally constructed, and separated before bending.
