Abstract
1,197,865. Fuel injection control systems. ROBERT BOSCH G.m.b.H. Feb. 21, 1969 [Feb. 23, 1968], No.9403/69. Addition to 1, 154, 270. Heading G1N. In an I.C. engine fuel injection control system as disclosed in the parent Specification, the duration of the pulse T 1 from the monostable multivibrator 32 is further controlled in dependence upon the temperature of an engine part e.g. the oil in which an N.T.C. resistor 121 is mounted. As described the N.T.C. resistor 121 is operative below 0‹ C., the pulse becoming larger the greater the engine oil temperature is below 0‹ C. The N.T.C. resistor 96 is arranged to sense the temperature of a different engine part to that of resistor 121 e.g. the cooling water system, exhaust system or cylinder head, and the time constant of R121 is preferably five times greater than that of R96. R96 then determines 60% to 80% of the required temperature correction of the injection period and R121 determines 40% to 20% of the correction.
