1363633 Regulating I C engine fuel injection PETROL INJECTION Ltd and H E JACKSON 26 May 1971 [26 May 1970] 49334/73 Divided out of 1363631 Heading F1B The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially the same as part of that described in Specification 1363631, but the claims are concerned with a fuel injection system including at least one fuel injector nozzle, at least one interrupter valve connected to control fuel flow through the nozzle, and an interrupter valve control mechanism including an energy stroage device which, during the period between one point of an engine operating cycle and the same point of the next cycle, stores energy for at least one time period determined by the interval between engine ignition pulse and then releases energy, the interrupter valve being actuated for a length of time determined by the energy release time of the storage device.
