Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize the supply of fuel to output torque of Diesel engine as well as prevent the increase in smoke amount in exhaust or the rise of the temperature of exhaust to an unnecessary extent.
CONSTITUTION: The fuel injection pump 2 provided to the Diesel engine 1 is fitted with the fuel injection timing regualtor 3 into which a fixed pressure oil is supplied from the pressure oil source 4 through the oil pressure regulator 5. From the engine 1, the cylinder inside pressure P, the fuel flow rate q, the revolving number R, the exhaust temperagure T, and the rack position L are detected and these data are put in the CPU12 through the I/O 11. At the CPU12, the output torque Tor of the engine is calculated and the Tor is divided by the function f(q) of q to obtain the efficiency n. And, in order to maximize the value η.
