Stands.-In a foldable stand for bicycles, two vertical members a, b, with rests for frame members, are fitted at their lower ends with folding legs g, and are connected by hinged bars c, d which, when the stand is in use, are intereng,aged. by a pin and slot q, p. The rear end of the bar d has a lug r which is passed through a slot s in the vertical member b, and is locked by a pivoted hook u. The legs g are connected by links i to a slidable plate k on the lower end of each vertical member, the member being slotted at n to accommodate the inner pivot pins l of the links and a central lifting-pin m upon the plate. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 26473/97.
