Abstract

1,196,445. Tables. ASHTON CONTAINERS Ltd. 13 May, 1968 [15 June, 1967], No. 27679/67. Heading A4H. A table top is made by folding a corrugated board into a hollow pyramidal body of triangular section having rhomboidal apertures 30, 31 in two inclined walls, and a table leg is made by folding a further corrugated board into a hollow rhomboidal body, and the table leg is inserted through the apertures 30, 31 so that its end contacts the base surface of the table top. The leg has a diagonal wall formed by two walls 44, (45) in face-to-face abutment and slots (46), (47), 50, (51) in the diagonal wall and the side walls of the leg engage face-to-face flaps 13, (14) extending from the apex of the triangular top to the base surface thereof.
