Breech actions, dropdown barrel.-Consists in forming the action body with a single slot 12 adapted to receive the lumps 17, 18, a cocking slide 16, the locking-bolt 15, and parts of the hammers 21 and sears 20. The cocking-slide, shown separately in Fig. 8, comprises a front part 29 and a rear part 31 pivoted together, and is operated by a projection 35 on the front lump. A semi-circular top locking-bolt operated by the top lever is provided.
