Abstract

1,194,283. Electromagnetic relays. UNITEDCARR Inc. 27 Feb., 1968 [28 Feb., 1967], No 9349/68. Heading H1N. A relay generally as in Specification 1,096,288 has its back-stop 26 extending through an aperture 24 in the armature portion 19 of the strip 16, 17, 18, 19 and a battery 31 is connected to the single coil 29 such that when the coil is energized the end 28 of core 27 nearest to the armature has an N. polarity and the positive side of the battery is connected to the base 17 of the strip 16, 17, 18, 19 at 43. The circuit operates to cause flashing of a lamp 40 since the branch circuit through resistor 33 and coil 29 is in parallel with the spring strip 16-19 and contacts 23, 30.
