Abstract
1,192,275. Regulating gaseous fuel. SEA BIRD (CLEAN AIR FUEL SYSTEMS) Ltd. Aug. 21, 1968, No.39990/68. Heading F1B. A gaseous fuel control valve 26 is controlled by a diaphragm 7 responsive to the suction in a Venturi in the exhaust pipe. Chamber 6 is connected by pipe 13a to the throat of the Venturi 14 in the exhaust pipe and chamber 7 is connected by pipe 15 to a point upstream of the Venturi. Diaphragm 7 is connected by rod 24 to diaphragms 25, 3, defining a gaseous fuel flow chamber 2 and a chamber 4 connected by pipe 20 to a Venturi in the air intake pipe. The gaseous fuel flows through pipe 29 into chamber 2 under the control of valve 26, pivoted at 27, and flows out to the air intake pipe through a pipe 30. The supply of gaseous fuel increases as the pressure difference between chambers 6, 8, increases.
