Abstract

1,183,903. Bucket grabs. NEMAG N.V. 1 Aug., 1968 [16 Aug., 1967], No. 36838/68. Heading B8H. In a grab in which a pair of buckets 1, 2. Fig. 1, are pivoted on an axis 19 by supporting plates 3, 4 and 12, 13 respectively, extension pieces 26, 27 of the plates 12, 13 are continuous therewith on the opposite side of the pivot 19, whilst extension plates 20, 21 of the plates 3, 4 are separate and displaced inwardly. Bushes 22, 23 and 24, 25 provide the connections between the plates 3, 20 and 4, 21. Fig. 3 (not shown), illustrates how the control pulleys are enclosed on their undersides by plates 33, 34, and the attachment to the buckets of lifting cables 37-40.
