[Also in Division E1] Mounted about a pair of spaced parallel axes on an excavator shovel are a pair of power pivotable arms provided with gripper means on the arm ends projecting ahead of the shovel. The arms may be mounted directly upon the upper transverse wail of the shovel or on a frame detachably mounted on said wall. The gripper means, of which several forms are described, are of shapes appropriate to the object to be gripped.
