Abstract

1,156,734. Grab excavators. POCLAIN. 2 Oct., 1967 [6 Oct., 1966], No. 44757/67. Heading E1F. In an excavator there can be detachably mounted from a jib or an arm of the excavator a forked member 7 for carrying a grab bucket assembly 4. The bucket halves - supporting spreader bar 3 of the assembly 4 is connected to the bottoms of the prongs 8a, 8b of the forked member 7 by pins 16a,.16A entering into holes in opposed lugs 17a, 17b on the spreader bar 3. The upper part of the member 7 can be provided with a rotary swivel 9 and protective fenders 10.
