Abstract

1,255,630. Slings for lifting bricks. I. & P. LIFTING GEAR Ltd. 29 Oct., 1969 [19 Nov., 1968], No. 54776/68. Heading B8H. Lifting bars 2, Fig. 1, are used to lift loads, e.g. packages of bricks, by passing the bars through holes near the base of the package. The bars have pivoted eyes 5 at each end to which chains 8 are releasably attached. Clamping bars 10 may be secured to the chains by chain clamps 11.
