Abstract

1,180,381. Lawn mowers. QUALCAST Ltd. 3 Feb., 1967 [3 Nov., 1965], No. 46617/65. Heading A1F. A lawn mower comprises a rotary cutter 17 mounted in a frame 15 and adjustable with respect to a sole plate 16 also mounted on the frame, the frame being adjustably mounted on a chassis 10 supported on at least two rollers 12, 14. The cutter 17 is mounted on two arms 22 pivotally mounted in side plates 25 which form the frame, the frame being loaded towards the ground by means of screw 19 and compression spring 21. The arms 22 are held in position relative to frame 15 by means of screws 23 with compression springs 24 arranged to urge the cutter 17 away from the sole plate 16.
