Abstract

117,636. Arbenz, C. A. July 2, 1917, [Convention date]. Folding seats.-A seat for use in vehicles and public places comprises a fixed back S and a casing T behind which the seat proper P is concealed when out of use. The seat is mounted on pivots L which are adapted to slide in grooves A in the form of an upper curved portion and lower rectilinear portion. A projection Q on the underside of the seat bears on the top of the casing when the seat is lowered therein.
