Abstract

533,992. Seats. PAGLIERE, M. A. A. DE G. Dec. 15, 1939, No. 32284. [Class 52 (ii)] A sheet of material 1 having a smooth or slippery external surface is secured to the back 2 of a vehicle seat, and a second sheet 4 with a slippery internal surface or with a slippery lining sheet 5 is secured by elastic or other resilient material 3 around the top and sides of the back, so that movement of the vehicle is not communicated to the occupant of the seat. The sheet 4 may be a part of the upholstery and where it is free at the lower edge a strip 6 to cover the gap at the edge is provided. The surfaces may be lubricated with talcum powder &c.
