116,227. Klippert, E. T. Dec. 19, 1917. Hooks, slip.-A releasing-hook suitable for bomb-carriers for aircraft and ships' life-boats comprises two parts g, d pivoted to a central member f. The member g fits into a recess in the member d and is provided with a recess which receives a spring-pressed bolt h connected to a cable n. The chamber carrying the bolt is filled with grease. The curved surfaces which receive the tackle hook c and supporting-ring b are arranged out of the line to facilitate the opening of the hook on pulling the cable.
