Abstract

1,159,738. Endless conveyers. HAYDEN-NILOS Ltd. 18 Sept., 1967, No. 42380/67. Heading B8A. The lower run 7 of an endless conveyer belt 1 is scraped clean of material by scrapers 14A, 14B arranged in two rows, those 14A of one row being in inclined relation to those 14B of the other row. The scrapers are mounted on rods 15B, the ends of which rest on springs 21. The latter are supported on bars 23, the distance of which below the belt 1 may be adjusted by bolts 36 in slots 35. A further adjustment is provided by having alternative holes 37, 38, for the bolts 36, in the conveyer side frames 4. The scraped-off material is directed by a shoot 13 on to the downstream conveyer 10.
