Abstract

1,156,136. Drying pottery. VICTORIA HEATING & VENTILATING CO. Ltd. 23 May, 1967 [27 May, 1966], No. 23905/66. Heading F4G. Apparatus for drying ceramic ware comprises a nozzle projecting hot air on to the articles to be dried, each nozzle having an externally screw-threaded portion engaging in an internally-threaded aperture in a duct conveying the hot air so as to permit adjustment of the distance of the nozzle outlet from the article. Each nozzle outlet may have a plurality of different sized apertures or have a distributing head or cone provided with a closure plate having a pattern of apertures therein.
