Abstract
1,156,133. Insulation; transformer windings. C. A. PARSONS & CO. Ltd. 24 Nov., 1966 [22 April, 1966], No. 17790/66. Headings H1A and HIT. Sections 1a, 1b of a transformer or other conductor are insulated from each other to reduce eddy current flow by a longitudinal tape 3 of insulation (e.g. paper), the edges 3a, 3b of which are made to lie against side faces 1a<SP>11</SP>, 1b<SP>11</SP> of the sections. The edges may be turned over at the time of winding insulating tape 2.
