Abstract

115,612. Esnol, A. E. Feb, 5, 1917. Lamps for burning viscous and solid hydrocarbons.-A lamp which may be used for consuming solidified spirit, and adapted for use with a stove &c., such as described in Specification 104,001, [Class 75 (i), Burners &c.], comprises a body a having a " lever-top " perforated and dished lid b and a ring of small holes d near the top of its peripheral wall. After the introduction of solidified spirit, starting is effected by warming the underside of the lamp, and the escaping vapour burns at the holes c, d. A lighted match can be introduced through one of the larger holes in the lid.
