Abstract

1,155,740. Valves. ZAVODY PRUMYSLOVE ACTOMATISACE - JINONICE, NARODNI PODNIK. 30 Dec., 1966 [30 Dec., 1965], No. 58320/66. Heading F2V. The body 4 of a spool valve encloses a plurality of housings 5, 6 and 7 which are separated from one another by means of a plurality of circumferentially arranged spacers each consisting of a ring 16 mounted on a pin 17. Each housing has formed therein an annular groove e.g. 14a, which communicates with a corresponding annular space, defined between the housing, the spool and two adjacent lands, by by means of a plurality of arcuate apertures 18, Fig. 2 (not shown), which apertures are separated by radially extending ribs (15, Fig. 2), formed integrally with the housing. Upon movement of the spool, fluid supplied under pressure to inlet 11 is directed to either one of two service ports 12 or 13, the other port simultaneously communicating, via groove 14a, with an exhaust port 14.
