Abstract

1385693 Hydraulic reciprocating motors HAGGLUND & SOMER AB 7 March 1972 [9 March 1971] 10573/72 Heading F1A In a radial cylinder hydraulic motor having a rotary cylinder block 6 provided with a ring of cylinder ports 11, each of which communicates in turn with a ring of alternate inlet and outlet ports 10 in a non-rotable valve plate 9 mounted in a housing 1, passages 15, 16 in the valve plate 9 communicate the hydraulic pressure from the regions between the ports 10 to chambers 25 in the housing 1, thereby to urge bushings 18 into contact with the valve plate which in turn is urged against the cylinder block 6. Each passage 15, 16 is connected to its pressure chamber 25 through an annular chamber 27 and a passage 26, both in the respective bushing 18. Each bushing 18 is slidable on a sleeve 24 fixed in the housing 1 and providing communication therethrough between inlet or outlet passages 2 and the ports 10. In addition to the pressure in the chambers 25, the bushings are urged by springs 30 and the pressure in the passages 2 acting on annular surfaces 21.
