The use of an arm of magnetic material for diverting flux from a voltage electromagnet acting on one disc of a two-disc rotor to a point on the other disc, as described with respect to Figs. 13 and 14 of Specification 1, 072, 018 for a meter with three drive systems, is applied to a meter with only two drive systems, one acting on each disc and disposed at 90 degrees to each other.
