Abstract

1,142,447. Prizing tools. H. O. LUNDQVIST. 21 Nov., 1967 [28 Nov., 1966], No. 52859/67. Heading B4C. [Also in Division A4] A shelf unit 3 is displaceable on rails 6 by a lever mounted on an end wall of the unit 3 to pivot, at 8, intermediate its upper, handgrip end 23 and its lower end which bears on a fixed pin 16 extending laterally from a rail 6. The lever comprises two rigidly interconnected bars 21, 22 which diverge from their adjacent ends to parallel intermediate portions which, at any desired position along their length, are clamped between plates 24, 25 engaged on the pivot shaft 8. A spring 28 with opposite ends anchored to the unit 3 and the lever has an over-centre action to bias the lever towards one or other of its limits of swing at which it engages a stop (9).
