Abstract

1,140,532. Spray-producers. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. 26 April, 1966 [10 May, 1965], No. 19631/65. Addition to 913611. Heading B2F. The spray gun or like device disclosed in Specification 913,611 is modified by the substitution adjacent the mixing chamber outlet of a detachable nozzle having a conical or frusto-conical internal surface leading to a relatively small outlet. The internal surface may be in the form of a truncated cone of angle between 45‹ and 100‹. The outlet may be a circular hole, a curved slit, or a straight slit one sixteenth of an inch in width. The use of a secondary air stream adjacent the outlet is stated to be obviated.
