Abstract

Bakers' ovens.-Decker ovens are provided with a hot-air passage or passages L whereby the interiors of the baking chambers may be connected together to regulate and equalize the temperature, dampers being fitted for closing the connexion when desired. The sand-packed casing has perforated false sides or outer panels P enclosing an air space to prevent the radiation of heat. The floors of the oven chambers have endless chains running on sprockets as shown.
