1,127,538. Pneumatically operated vehicle window. G. DELLEDONNE. 6 Feb., 1967 [11 Feb., 1966; 9 Jan., 1967], No. 5574/67. Heading E2M. A device for automatically and pneumatically controlling the closing of a vehicle window is illustrated with reference to drawings and comprises two hollow pistons 9 sealingly slidable within chambers 8, 18 provided in the rigid frame of the window and connected to a movable sash frame 5 carrying the glass 6 of the window part or aperture, the device also including a locking assembly 30 for stopping the movable frame at any desired position. A conduit 27 conveys compressed air from a reservoir in the vehicle, and via a valve controlled by 26, into chamber 8. Air may be exhausted from chamber 8 via a valve operated by 25. Push button 25 also releases the lock-assembly by operating cable 34.
