Abstract
1483505 Well perforating apparatus SCHLUMBERGER Ltd 20 Sept 1974 [21 Sept 1973] 41004/74 Heading F3A A hollow charge device for piercing the wall of a well, comprises an enclosure 11 provided with a valve member 22 which, as the device is withdrawn from the well, ventilates the enclosure of any pressurized well gases that have seeped into the enclosure. The valve stem 27 can be used as a means of manual actuation and its degree of projection indicates whether or not the valve is open or closed.
