Abstract
1,265,059. Pressurized dispensing container valve. SOLFRENE S.p.A. Aug. 12, 1969 [Aug.29, 1968], No.40206/69. Heading F1R. A valve body, comprises a chamber 10, having at least one aperture 3 communicating with the interior of a pressurizable dispensing container (not shown) and having on the outside a flexible closure member 6, with a head 7, which by its own elasticity, closes the aperture 3. During charging with propellant gas, the head 7 is moved away from the aperture 3 to permit an increased filling rate. As shown, the body also has a permanently open passage 9. Other embodiments are described in which the aperture is located in the base of the body or is combined with the passage 9 in the form of a slot. In a further embodiment Figs. 12, 13 (not shown), in place of the aperture 3, 9, the wall of the body has notches so that during filling the wall breaks at those points and forms a rib closing an aperture.
