Abstract

1,123,660. Door draught &c. excluders. EUROPAISCHE H.O. CANFIELD CO. G.m.b.H. 18 July, 1967 [5 May, 1967], No. 33009/67. Heading E1J A door comprising a honey comb interior structure 7 e.g. of cardboard with plastics surface sheets 1, 2 adhered thereto e.g. by liquid resin has on the back side a channel-section strip 4 whose walls 3 are adhered to the sheets 12, and may be provided with inter - engaging ribs or teeth 12 as shown, the strip 4 also having an arm 11 directed oppositely to the walls 3 and carries a magnetic sealing strip 9 for cooperation with the metal frame 5. This frame may have a resilient stop 6. The bottom of the door has a draught excluder strip 14 adjustable in the channel in the bottom of the door and has resilient strip 17 to contact the floor, and the strip 14 and channel in the door may have interengaging teeth. The rebate formed between the door and strip 14 may be filled in by strips on either side of the strip 14 to form a completely flush surface to the door.
