A resilient sealing strip for sealing the lower edges of side-hinged doors is formed with a cross-section having firstly an upper part in the shape of an inverted channel, one flange 5 of which constitutes a mounting part and the other flange 6 a cover for concealing the mounting part and fixing means shown as a plate strip 10 and nails or screws 12, secondly a corrugated part 7 which may be of V section and thirdly, contiguous with the part 7 a bulbous head 8 for resilient contact with the floor. The exposed surfaces of the strip may be covered with pile 9.
