Abstract

112,350. Reed, E. A., and Burt, L. S. March 7, 1917. Portable buildings.-The wall and roof sections of portable buildings are composed of two superposed light wooden frames 1, 2 nailed or screwed together with an intermediate, sheet 3 of waterproof canvas forming the panel filling. Some of the sections are left open as shown at 7 to receive window and door frames. Non-breakable translucent material may be used for glazing. The roof sections are hinged together in pairs, and a ridge fillet 9 may be secured to one side of each pair of frames, or a separate ridge piece may be used. Opposite walls are connected by crossties 10 and U-bolts 13. The sections are of uniform size and may be fitted with the door and window frames before erection.
